This policy describes exactly what the app does with data. It is written to match the Google Play Data Safety declaration for this app; if you find a discrepancy, the stricter reading applies and we will correct the document.
FeedCast turns the sources you follow — YouTube channels, subreddits, RSS feeds — into a personal AI-generated radio show. It requires an account and an internet connection, because episodes are produced and streamed from our servers. The app collects only what it needs to do that: your email and the public source URLs you add. There are no ads, no third-party analytics, and no tracking SDKs.
The app talks to two systems we operate — the FeedCast API (feedcast-api.spawnkit.ai) and our self-hosted authentication server (supabase.spawnkit.ai) — always over encrypted HTTPS.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Your email address (and a password, or a sign-in link sent by email) | To create and sign in to your account |
| The public URLs of sources you add (YouTube channels, subreddits, RSS feeds) and the names you give them | So our server can fetch their content and build your episodes |
| Your episode requests (chosen topics, duration, music style) | To generate the radio show you asked for |
About your sources: the URLs you add point to public content. Our server fetches that public content to write and produce your episodes. We do not access any private account of yours on YouTube, Reddit, or anywhere else — no third-party login is ever requested.
Episode generation uses credits attached to your account. Credit balances are stored server-side with your account. The app itself contains no advertising SDK and no payment SDK.
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of data associated with your account.
You can remove any source from the app at any time; removal is immediate. To delete your entire account (email, sources, generated episodes and credits), email apocys@gmail.com with the subject "FeedCast account deletion". We will action it within 30 days.
Your account data, sources, and generated episodes are retained while your account exists and deleted upon account deletion. On-device data is cleared when you sign out or uninstall the app.
FeedCast is a general-audience app not directed at children. Because the content of your episodes reflects the sources you choose to follow, the app is intended for users old enough to hold an email account under the rules of their country.
If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
