FAQ

How do I add a word list?

From the home screen, tap the capture button and photograph the word list from the school notebook (or pick an existing photo from your gallery). The app extracts the words automatically; you can review and edit them before starting a dictation.

The app doesn't speak the words. What can I check?

Dictée uses your phone's built-in text-to-speech voice. Make sure a French voice is installed (Android Settings → System → Languages → Text-to-speech) and that the media volume is up. The ring/mute switch does not silence dictations — media volume does.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings → Delete account in the app. This permanently removes your account and all data (word lists, photos, scores). You can also email us at apocys@gmail.com.
